Born in El Paso, TX and attended High School at Forest High, Dallas, TX. He spent his later life married to Nat Kriss (nee Wilda Natelie Lewis Bechkham) in Laguna Nigel and Huntington Beach, CA. They did not have children. Eddie had sisters: Margarete Kriss Cohen and Gertrude Kriss Jerwick and brothers: Harry, Otto, Ernest, and Milton all deceased. His parents emergrated to the US circa 1906: Samuel Kriss from Poland and Rose Jerwick Kriss from Russia. The family was Jewish. Sam and Rose initially settled in Minneapolis then El Paso and Dallas, TX. A tailor by trade, he had three systers and one brother. Current relatives living are Harry M. Kriss Dallas, TX 90 yrs.
